This is a dimensional piece that has brilliant embroidery threads wildly attached at the bottom. There is an intentional aged/crackling look to the vague fetus encased in yellow light and also tiny chips of paint added under the surface..pieces of paint..making up the painting-an interesting feeling..this ancient fetus - candles brilliant, melting into..threads of life all meshed together, connected. There are also paint tube pieces in the mix of embroidery thread again..the tools of the picture are part of the picture as the pieces of a life make up the life. There are a handful of pieces that, more so than others, make up the history of me as an artist for many reasons including the day and the process by which it was made..this is one of those pieces.
